Here is a slideshow of when we went to the Renaissance fair a couple of weekends ago.

Shakespeare in the Park
Leah, Annie, Jessie, Mat, and I went to a production of Shakespeare in the Park tonight. It was Richard III, which I read in high school, but not since. Uh, well, let’s just say that some of the acting was far less than desirable. Although I have to say that the actor that played Richard did an excellent job, considering what he had to play off of. But besides the below par acting, we had a good time. We brought food and had a picnic before hand. Nothing puts me in a good mood besides food! hehe
Bess' Overnighter
So Bess (my Cousin Molly’s daughter) stayed over last night. She’s really cute but unlike most kids that aren’t sure about a situation (fuss or throw tantrums) she remains silent, which is really funny. Once she was comfortable around us, she was so adorable! This first picture of her is at lunch-tuna fish and crackers, which she loved.
After lunch it was almost time for her nap. On Molly’s list of “Bess things” is said she usually took a nap at 12:30. Unlike most kids that need a little coaxing for their nap, at exactly 12:30 she got up from Hannah’s rocking chair and laid down on the couch. That made me laugh so much, proof that child conditioning does work!
Although we had to keep Cooper (our overly barky dachshund) and Bess separate for the past two days, it was fun having her here. At one point I decided to take a video of her and Leah playing peek-a-boo behind the couch, she was having fun and giggling heaps. I showed it to her after. She started jumping up and down and squealing, whilst pointing to people in the video and saying their names. Like Hannah and “Anony”-I have to admit that is a tough one, Nino would have been much easier for her to say. She liked Anthony a great deal, probably because he’s tall and resembles her uncle Evan, or maybe it was because he threw her up in the air. I guess we’ll never know. :D

Julia the American African
I went to Julia's going away party tonight. It was quite fun, but I did find it hard to truly enjoy myself because after all she is moving to Nigeria and I won't see her for a while. I wish her luck and hope she does well (and has fun) teaching! Julia, we’re going to miss you!
Mukilteo Beach Trip 8/2/07
Annie, Jessie, Leah, and I had lunch by the Mukilteo Ferry dock and ate frozen yogurt on the beach. Here are some pictures!
