Not much of a drinker.

Actually, I don’t drink at all. But if I did, I would have bought these! Tiny bite sized Heineken kegs! What can I say, I’m a sucker for miniature versions of things!

Oh the things you see on the side of the road…

Picture this, I’m driving down Aurora, it’s about 6:00 pm, and out of the corner of my eye I see what looks like a man sitting at the bus stop with a pumpkin for a head. So I turn to look. And I realize, it IS a man with a pumpkin for a head. Then I saw the other man..and the camera...and the tripod..and the lights....and I realized it was a photo shoot. But for a minute there, I was kinda freaked out. Like a horror movie come to life!

Priscilla’s Pearls of Wisdom

Today’s Pearl of Wisdom (as most of them have been) is directly related to dating. When in the buds of a new relationship, or potential relationship, or really even talking to a guy you might potentially like. Please, for the love of God, DO NONE of the following:

1. Act immature.
2. Giggle like a “school girl”.
3. Or be ridiculous in any way.

Now I love Priscilla, but I giggle and there are most definitely elements of the ridiculous about me. So, maybe that’s why I don’t have a boyfriend. On the bright side, nowhere on that list does it say “Do not say lewd comments or innuendos to men!” So, I’m pretty much golden!

This is what I seem to attract??

Last night I was on LDSLinkup checking out who had viewed my profile, you know, as I do every night. Haha. So I click into all their profiles and I had to stop and laugh at this one. Yes, that’s right, apparently it was taken after “a night of pillaging”.

Girl Talk after FHE

Apparently they don’t seem to like their picture taken…

HAPPY BIRTHDAY PRISCILLA!!!

Today is Priscilla’s birthday, earlier this morning she received a visit from her four year old granddaughter Claire and Claire's mother Michelle. They wished her a happy birthday and gave her a bouquet of flowers. Claire had dictated to Michelle what she wanted written in the card. Priscilla had told me this whole story and then had me read the card. For those of you who can’t read it, the card says: “Granny, I love you and I’m your friend for 160 million years. Love, Claire.
Conversation between Priscilla and Claire after the card reading:
Priscilla: Do you know how long that is?
Claire: Yes, Granny. A very long time!

I <3 Sushi

I hope one day to be able to go on a date and eat sushi. Mainly so I can end up looking like this: and this: Oh yeah! The jowls, they are a sexy!!

The last 6 months of pictures on my phone.

Oh the things I have found in Bellingham. Hard to see, but there were two HUGE Great Danes in that Subaru. Greek boys dancing at the Greek Fair. I love being a first priority. No, no Bridgette, continue texting. It’s not like I was trying to have a conversation with you or anything. ;DKey to the new townhouse. First sleepover in the new townhouse. I have a feeling I’m never going to get sleep again.

Communication Breakdown

Or should I say, actual breakdown? Why is it when I need to be someplace, that’s when we seem to have car trouble? As some of you may know, Leah, Anthony, and myself had tickets for last night’s Robert Plant and Allison Krauss concert. And as some of you may know, I work with my dad in Bellingham-about an hour and a half from Seattle. We decided to leave at 4:00, allotting enough time to curl my hair, change my clothes and generally freshen up before we had to leave for the concert, which started at 8. So we set off on our long journey home. About halfway through the drive and about half a mile from the Stanwood/Camano Island exit, we managed to get a flat tire. So we’re stuck on the side of the freeway, with no AAA (yeah that expired the day before) and my dad (not knowing you had a month’s grace period) gets out to change the tire. Now don’t think I was just a “damsel in a dress” – Hudson Hawk (seriously, I wore a dress to work that day), but to my dad’s persistence, I stayed behind the car. To find myself watching a surprisingly large amount of daddy longlegs fight each other on the side of the road. That is until he confessed to me that he couldn’t get the tire on, I told him I could do it (because I figured this out last time we had to change the tire) and we managed to get the spare on. In the car he said that “You’re the brains and I’m the brawn!” So to make a long story short, we made it home in time to go to the concert, and I got four brand new tires on my car! Man do I love unexpected expenses! :DThis is my favorite picture of Robert Plant-him in his little bolero jacket, man he has gorgeous hair! And the concert was awesome! Pictures and videos to come.
