Leah and Eliza’s Birthday Weekend

Sorry this is a little late but on Friday, January 11th Leah had a party to celebrate her birthday (which was on the 4th). We first went to the YSA Fireside with Elder Richard G. Scott, which was awesome. Although we got there a little late, had to park about 10 blocks away, and had to sit in the foyer, which meant we couldn’t see him. But it was still really good, and we had a great time.

After the fireside we went to a New Orleans restaurant in Pioneer Square, the food wasn’t amazing, but we had an awesome time. The best part of the restaurant was the atmosphere! There was live blues music (Paul Green and Straight Shot) and we even got up and danced, which is as some of you know one of my favorite things!

Then the next evening we celebrated Eliza’s birthday (which was on the 6th). First we went to happy hour The Melting Pot. That was a lot of fun, although the lighting was absolutely horrible. I’m not sure I would ever go there for anything other than Happy Hour because it wasn’t very filling and I wouldn’t want to pay more than double for that.

After The Melting Pot we went back to Eliza’s and hung out until it was time to go see Juno at a cinema downtown. When we got there though we found out that it actually wasn’t playing there, so it was back to Eliza’s for pizza and a movie, more hanging out, and shimming on Smith Street (don’t ask).

You know what’s funny? It seems like every weekend we’re celebrating someone’s birthday, probably because we are!

**Pictures to come-hopefully!**
