Email from Whitney!!

Tuesday I received an email from Whitney. Well, actually, she didn't remember my email address, but she got Leah's right so she forwarded it on to me. It's been three weeks since I last heard from her and this email was much needed. If I’m honest I cried approximately 8 -10 drops when I read it. Here's an edited (because some people offend easy) version for you to enjoy. :D

I hope I remembered one of your emails correctly! I LOOOOVED your snail mail Sarah, THANK YOU! Please go to dearelder.com and send me love letters that way as often as you like! I hope you are well and having fun and warm and everything! Miss you both like crazy, especially when one of the elders and I are singing Flight of the Conchords in class! There ain’t no party like my nana's tea party! hey! ho! I love you! I Love You! I LOOOOOOOOOVE YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I love you too Whitney!!!! More than I can possibly say! Almost 1 month down....17 to go.

First Weekend Without Whitney. :(

Rundown.

Friday:
Saw Frost/Nixon with Leah and Anthony.
Ate dinner at a Thai place on the Ave with Leah.
Went to Stake dance for Benji's birthdaypoosie (first Friday night in 3 months that I didn't spend at Cowgirls...sad).

Saturday:
Went to Ross with Leah and Julie (including the "boot")-bought a couple pairs of shoes and shirt/tunics...Julie got hit on by a woman.
Ate at Outback Steakhouse with individuals above.
Almost had plans with B-Ryan for dancing (:D), but went to....
Ronnie's birthday celebration at Garage on Capital Hill instead. Yay for birthdays!!!
Met up with Bridgette and Blake (and Blake's friend's little brother Brad) at The Little Red Hen (first time in 3 months I've had to pay cover...grrr!!!) in Greenlake-not sure if I like it yet.

Sunday:
Late, late, late church.....why does it have to be at one o'clock?
CES fireside and dinner brought to you by the Lynnwood Stake...didn't meet anyone new, but did have fun with friends!

Number of times I wept for Whitney…2. Definitely improved!

Special shout out to Leah, Julie, Bridgette, and Bensiepoosie for making my first weekend without Whitney bearable.

I <3 Katy Perry

I know I probably shouldn't, but I so love Katy Perry. It started with "I kissed a girl and I liked it", which is super catchy, but it also holds a little space in my heart for two reasons. One, it reminds me of dancing with Whitney at Cowgirls, which prompted me to make it her ringtone. And two, it reminds me of dancing with incredibly good-looking men at Cowgirls. ;D But seriously, it's a fun song and it makes people (sticks in the mud that I know) super uncomfortable. I love that.
Anyway, so I bought the CD and I have found two more songs on the album that I love equally if not more than “I kissed a Girl”. The first is “Hot N’ Cold”, which perfectly describes every relationship me and my girlfriends have had. And the second is “UR So Gay”, which describes some of the guys I know (harsh, but true!).
Some of my favorite lyrics:
“You’re so sad maybe you should buy a happy meal
You’re so skinny you should really super size the deal”
And
“You walking around like you’re oh so debonair
You pull them down and there’s really nothing there
I wish you would just be real with me”
I love, love, love it!! It makes me laugh.
:D
